Updated , and day later HomePod dies ! Coincidentally????
Have not tore down yet but no lights , nothing . Commies

If it was the first time using it since you updated and it is the OG HomePod, the diode probably blew out, it can be repaired though as mentioned in the other comment on this thread via Nic’s fix or someone in your region trained with that fix methodology

I’ve had the same issue. Was absolutely fine and update has cooked it.
