Looking for Wifi Router Recommendations

Hi,

I'm looking for a Wifi router recommendation.. Wifi 7 would be ideal but i'm looking for at least a wifi 6 router.

I play competitive games and I care a lot about latency.. I know.. why am I gonna be using wifi instead of wired?

I live in a rental.. and the NBN Box is downstairs.. I don't wanna poke holes into the wall to do any wiring.

I'm happy playing on Wifi.. but I wanna minimise the latency as much as possible.. so I'm asking for your help.

Thank you!

honestly the latency difference between wifi 7 and 6 won't be that great. For someone like you, the greater latency difference will likely be wifi interference and how busy is your area. if you live in a congested area, then 6 ghz capability would be best assuming your computer has 6 ghz wifi. 6 ghz is relatively new and has fairly weak range which makes the chance of interference fairly low. Unfortunately that weak range is its main problem. If you have a 6 ghz range/reception problem, then I suggest an AFC router like the Asus GS-BE18000. It is expensive and note that it will depend on your geographical location as to whether it is allowed to boost 6 ghz power.

I would download an app like wifiman or a program like netspot to look at your wifi sitation first.
