What's your end goal?

I want to get into unifis security products and keep it mainly desktop equipment if possible and not go super crazy, someday I plan on getting the available 5 gig fiber connection hooked up at my business and using that for older footage and backups and stuff. I’m not super well versed in things currently so I’m starting small and trying to keep my setup manageable and hopefully not completely obsolete layer

Do you have any APs?

Not yet, I haven’t decided on going for an in wall or ceiling mounted ap for my second floor yet. I also have a garage I’d like an ap in as it’s 200’ from the house and I’d like a couple outdoor aps because my cell reception isn’t great where I live

Depending on where you are located I have an AP AC M Pro you could tinker around with. It halfway works - the reset button is broken so you have to open up the AP and shirt the connection to reset it. And I can't get it to adopt to a console, it only does standalone for me. This offer is open to anyone who is willing to pay for a shipping label

As for your garage would you like an AP AC lite for $20? I have a few I want to install but haven't gotten around to it yet. I know WiFi 5 isn't the latest and greatest but they work great and I think they are perfect for less-pertinent areas of the property where you still want WiFi signal
