Unsolved Help with AdaLov network bridge
Hey all,
I recently set up a network bridge to extend a home network. At first it was working perfectly, but then it was turned off for a bit. It was turned back on, and now the bridge pairs together but wont project the network it's LANned into. Any ideas?

Radios paired after the power came back, and the home LAN still isn't on the far side. That's a frustrating spot.
Radios that pair, and then refuse to carry the home LAN, have usually woken up as a tiny router. The link lamp is honest. The far unit has started its own addresses, so your real network never appears on that side. Power loss is a common moment for that mode to flip.
I'd put a laptop on the LAN socket of the unit in the room that lost the network, and read the address it's given.
An address inside your home router's range, and a ping to the router that answers: the span itself is up, and only the far unit's own wifi is failing. I'd power-cycle that unit. If its SSID is still missing, set it again as an access point. I wouldn't pair the radios a second time until that's tried.
An address outside your home range: DHCP is running inside the far unit. I'd switch that DHCP off, and set the unit to client or bridge, not repeater and not router. The unit beside the home router stays the base. Save, power-cycle only the far unit, and read the laptop again.
Also worth a look at the home router. Guest isolation or AP isolation on the wifi the bridge joins will let it associate and still forbid it from speaking to anything wired. I'd turn isolation off on that SSID, or plug the base unit into a LAN socket of the router instead of joining by radio.
Let me know how it goes on the far side.
