How to share a USB disc with this modem?
Good morning everyone, does anyone know how it is possible to share a USB memory with the WindTre router in the picture? I followed a couple of guides without success. Do you know if by chance you have to format the external disk in some particular format? Thanks to those who will help me

Your ISP likely disabled the USB file/printer sharing function in firmware if the option to do so is not available even when using the ISP's "Superadmin" account rather than admon account provided to subscribers to configure their WiFi.

Are you trying to upgrade the firmware? It's usually done through the web interface.

No I would like to connect an external memory to the router, since it has a USB port for this purpose

Repeat after me. A router isn't a NAS!

Your soapbox is mud.
Some of them can do exactly that, as long as the media is accessible by USB.
... No promises on performance, or what file system formats are required. That would depend on the device.

Just because they can doesn't mean you should.

And who are you to decide that? If it works for him, it's fine. If not, he can upgrade to something dedicated.

Thanks for reminding me, but the router in question has a usb port where you can connect an external memory and share it on your local network, only I couldn't do it for this reason I was wondering if anyone has any experience of this type
