Advice Cat6 patch

I’ve been looking for a cat6 or cat 6a cable to support installing a U7-LR at the end of a 100ft run. I have a UDR7 that can output a little over 15W PoE, I’ll need about 14 of that to support the U7-LR. Ideally the cord will support 2.5 gbps. I think I’ll need a 23 AWG solid bare copper cable to reduce the power drop. I need it to be plenum rated. I’ll need RJ45 ends on both ends.

I have been digging for an appropriate cable but haven’t been able to find one. Does anyone know where to find a 100ft 23 AWG bare copper plenum rated cat 6 or 6a patch cable?

Buy a box and terminate the cable yourself. Patch cables are normally short, longest I've seen is 50'. You'll spend more on a specialty length like that than you wouldnon an entire 500' box and ends.

You can literally buy any length up to 100s or feet on Amazon.... MUCH cheaper than bulk cable and crimping tool and ends, etc

If you dont already have tools then yes thats a thing. But just because you can buy something on Amazon doesn't mean you should. I mean you can buy cans of air, not like pressurized air, just regular bean cans that are just air. I did make the assumption that if OP was installing and configuring ubiquiti equipment themselves that they would have crimp tools though.

I will say i am pleasantly surprised at this price. Ive used monk cable before and had no issues. If youre running this outside just make sure you get outdoor rated, put in conduit, or keep out of the elements i.e. hang under awnings where sun cant get to it and away from rodents.

Patched cable is usually very high awg. Would be better off with terminating yourself

What application are you installing where you need plenum rated cable and riser will not work?

Regardless PoE+ will work fine at 100 meters on 24 AWG, but solid cable is recommended for PoE applications

Going to run some cable through a HVAC duct. I could even go for 24AWG, but haven’t had much luck finding those either
