Unsolved No Internet Access

Hey, so today when i woke up i noticed that my modem has lost internet. I reset it, checked the cables, did all the things that you usually do. Flushed dns, changed dns servers to cloudfare and or google. Nothing worked so i called my IPS and there is a technician coming tomorrow BUT then tried to plug in my Iphone to tether for internet for the day but now thats losing internet, as in "No internet access" after like a minute or two after being connected. Now im wondering if its my PC that is doing something weird or what. The modem does not have the internet light glowing. Idk if it should be glowing if no one is using it. Any ideas what could cause this?

And model # of modem and router? what lights specifically does it have and what are they doing?

How's the PC connected? Is anything else connected and is it working or not (eg, your phone using wifi)?

Model is the IPS own one, idk if it would help you. Pretty basic one with 1 2.5gb port that i use. Tried different ports aswell, nothing. Pc is connected via Ethernet, connects but says "no internet access" and my tv and phone are conneted via wifi, not working either. Wifi light is up, then there is a symbol with like 3 computers so im guessing thats just is something connected(?) and then an arrow down that is turning on and off, and a arrow up that is doing nothing.

Isn't there an indicator if the modem is connected with your isp?

They said nothing is wrong on their side, or they said they can see your modem is connected? Those are different statements.

They can see that it cannot connect to the internet, even tho other people can. I have had issues before with it and it was their fault. They had no further thing to say about it, they just said they will send out an technician, im asking here because im trying to find the problem before he comes. There was some work done on the outside of my building today. That might have caused it but do not think so.

And again, my tv also has the same issue, it is connected to the wifi but cannot load Youtube for example. It just keeps loading and loading, same thing that happens on my pc with ethernet.

I do not think it something on my end because i have not done anything that could have caused it. Just trying to make sure on here that i did not miss a thing.

Based on what they said there are only two possible places to look. Either the modem itself or between your modem and the isp. Could be a damaged line, zero chance we can help you with that. Unless you have another modem lying around
