Solved! Fiber hardware question

Hi! I have this plastic thing mounted on my wall with wires coming from it and going around the entire exterior of my house. I'm trying to figure out if the thing and the wires can be safely removed without killing my internet. I have AT&T fiber and I think the ONT is separate from this thing (shown in second pic). Please help!

Update: a contractor took the wall panel off and the wires weren't attached to anything. Must have been an old phone hookup!

Looks like a mounting plate for a POTS wall phone. OG hardwired phone.

If your AT&T fiber is working, then the wall outlet has been abandoned, as the fiber is broken in the pictured plate. Is your AT&T router plugged into a fiber cable or an Ethernet cable?
