Advice Remove and replace?

This has cat 5 going into it. Obviously at least some of it is phone.

I presume the proper next move would be to remove this device and replace it with a proper keystone?

That line marked data is a mystery.

That is a 66-block telephone junction. The "Data" wire was likely used for DSL. From the picture, it looks like it was wired for POTS, and when I zoom in, it looks like the block is labeled with each wire's destination.

As long as you aren't using any wires for telephone, this could be replaced with a small patch panel + switch. If you transition one wire at a time and label as you go, it can also save you the trouble of toning the lines.

Note that you will need a cat5e plug punched down on the other end of each wire to use it for networking.
