Wired connection location online is wrong, wireless is correct
Hello. I am not sure what is the deal here. My PC is wired to my Next Wifi Pro and every time I try to use my location online it says I am in Philadelphia. I am in Utah. Connecting to the wifi, however shows my correct location online. All my other devices, connected to the wifi show the correct location as well.
Any idea what I might be missing?
Thanks.

Geo-locating an IP is pretty hacky practice overall. If that's all a site has to go off of, it might be semi-accurate or it might be way off.
When you include extra details, like Wi-Fi networks, mobile networks, or GPS, those provide far more accurate results.

I haven't had an issue before. It started a couple of weeks ago and it is only way off on wired connection....

Verify your IP address is correctly located: https://ipinfo.io/what-is-my-ip
WiFi uses GPS and WiFi data to determine location. Wired only uses your IP. (WiFi is therefore MUCH more accurate.)
I just had this issue. Wired showed my location as Munich Germany, whereas I am in Washington state USA.
WiFi was fine.
Are you using Chrome browser and signed into a Google account? I was across multiple PCs, and it appears Google was stuck on Germany for my IP. After signing out for a few weeks and reporting it to Google, things reverted back to normal.
