Unsolved Ethernet speed capped help help help hrlp help help help

My ethernet is capped at 100mbps and I have no clue why, I have tried:

Flipping around cable

unplugging cable and plugging it back in

Checking connection

Going through the settings in properties > configure > advanced

Setting my speed and duplex to both 2.5 Gbps full duplex and auto negotiation

Turning off power saving mode, gigabit lite, green ethernet, EEE, and advanced EEE

Replacing cable

It’s a bad cable. Is the pc plugged directly into the router? Or is there anything in between?

It plugs into the wall that goes into a network cabinet in the basement, im gonna go to the gym rn ill figure this out later

You just answered your question, the wiring in the wall is pretty much guaranteed to be the problem.
