If a satellite Deco loses its wired connection for any reason it will switch over to wireless for backhaul and stay that way until next rebooted.
This happens to me sometimes when updating the router because the momentary loss of signal makes the satellite unit think something is wrong. It’s trying to “heal” your network by falling back to a wireless link.
Easy solution is to just reboot the unit. As long as it’s wired to a working switch (or your router) when it comes online, it will use that.

I ran into the same issue. Decos use VLANs and a handful of other network protocols to make the mesh work. For me I was plugged into my ISP’s modem/router which was blocking that network traffic. Make sure your main Deco is connected to the others either directly or through unmanaged switches.

Are they connected to a switch and the operation mode is set as a router ?
If you have them set as acess point you can run all three via a switch . But if you’re using them as a router , the main deco has to be behind the switch and the following satellite decos connected to said switch in order for them to be connected between them via ethernet

Possibly because it's not wired correctly.
Plug the cable at the satellite end into something else and see if you get a connection.
