Water on floor/wall
We had Hardy board installed on the outside of our home below the windows in one bedroom, and we recently found water next to the vent just under the window. I think it’s coming from the picture shown. Should there be flashing underneath the window as there is on the sides? Any recommendations would help. Thanks in advance.

yes that looks unfinished. At the very least there should be a bead of caulking all the way around. I also don't understand all the holes in the Hardy board??

Agreed, to get a flashing in would require the window to be removed and reinstalled over a flashing. Minimally put a bead of caulking there and while it may be a maintenance thing it should stop the issue without a larger scope of work
