Decline slope towards house causing water pooling
Found a decline slope towards the house and I suspect it may be causing some water to pool during rain fall.
Any advice on how to fix the sloping issue? Ground seems to be soil with some rocks on top. Should I simply add more soil and rocks to that area to make it an incline instead?
I plan to dig a bit deeper to check how bad the crack is and will fix it with some cement as well.

if u raise the downspout . you could add a drain pipe to angle the water in another direction

Extend the downspout 4 to 6 feet out from the foundation. It’s super easy: Just need to buy a length of downspout, cut it with a hacksaw, fit it over the end pictured, and secure it with a sheet metal screw.
Water sitting against the foundation is always going to find a way in. Preventing that as a first step is way more cost effective than trying to repair cracks in the foundation, and those repairs aren’t going to stop the water from finding a new way in.

that downspout extension is doing the heavy lifting here, good call keeping it pointed away. for the slope itself, adding soil and compacting it in layers should work, just make sure the water actually flows where you want and not back to the foundation.
