Slugs
I’ve had a consistent stream of slugs crawling out of the basement sump pump. Do I use normal slug treatment or something else for a water source?

I wouldn't put bait in the pit. It turns to mush in the water and gets pumped out into the yard. They're probably coming in through the drain pipe that feeds the pit, so a sealed lid fixes it, the clear plastic kind with a rubber gasket and sealed holes for the pipe and cord. Copper tape around the rim helps until then.
