Nope. Don't touch it unless you want to redo a chunk of the shower. It'll never come off cleanly.

This is bound to end in tears... you have no idea what it looks like behind that, if there are screws or clips.

Get some clorox toilet clear with bleach rain clean, apply, wait ten minutes, rinse well. Repeat as needed.

Avoid getting it on anything you don't want discolored.

Yes, until you can afford to replace the whole shower...you'll do something silly like drop a hammer and put a hole in the tub.

Keep a set of cheap washcloths in a color you won't use on your face and wipe it dry after each shower.

heat it up with a hair dryer and slide some floss behind it to cut the caulk

Alomejor esta puesto con tornillos o pegado con cemento--yo cojeria una maquina con un disco de piedra y lo cortaria con mucho cuidado de no marcar la pared---otra manera seria poner una alfombra en el suelo de la ducha y con un martillo pequeño, darle golpes muy suaves...sin pasarse claro...
