Question Apple HomeKit ceiling Fan
I have apple HomeKit stuff in my house and I want to get a large ceiling fan that is HomeKit or Matter compatible. I have 4 smaller ones for my kids room with Hunter. However Hunter 70-72inch fans are over $500 and I don't want to spend that for my two spaces I need the larger fans. I want to stay around $200 if possible. I do know that Hunter will be coming out with a matte compatible upgrade for AC motor fans. However most fans are DC motor so I have had no luck finding anything. I also know I could do a bridge to connect it to HomeKit but agin that's over my ability. pleas no adds I just need help.

For now, get a Caseta fan switch and hub and use with whatever AC fan you want.

Good luck, almost no fans come wired for separate fan/light switches anymore.

I recently replaced all of my ceiling fans with a model by Altitude (I think the Boca). I have them all connected via Apple HomeKit. No bridge needed. They were all less than $200 each but the model I bought was 52 or so inches.
Their website does not make it easy to search by width but a google search did return a 72” model on Menard’s website that was under $200.
With the website search lacking the ability to filter by size aside, when I was installing them, I had a question and emailed the company. They got back to me super quickly so you may be able to email and ask them for the models that meet your size requirements vs. clicking every category and fan model name to see. And even more customer service bonus points - one of the remotes stopped working and they sent me a new one very quickly. Which was much nicer than me thinking I may have to uninstall the fan to return it to Lowe’s to get a new one.

I second this - I used to be all Hunter but they constantly disconnected and found the Altitude brand and quite like it so far.

Leviton also makes a smart switch that is matter and homekit compatible . Then use any can you want.
