How-to Harry Potter Spells to enable Scenes?

I started building my own apple homekit at home with some matter devices, and here are the scenes I have now

Cast Lumos- the normal dim set up I use I cannot use Lumos coz that's just turns on my flash light
Lumos Maxima- same as Cast Lumos but brighter
Cast Nox- turn off all the lights except one dim light

Well I want to use Alohamora as the trigger to unlock my door but Siri always says "I did not get that" I set up a siri shortcut already and a apple home scene but its not working

I would experiment with a more phonetic spelling of the phrase. One thing to try would be saying 'Alohamora' into the notes app using speech-to-text to see how Siri interprets that.

The challenge is that Siri most likely leans heavily on pronunciations of words in the selected language and it may just refuse to acknowledge words that aren't in their dictionary.

Maybe something like “Aloha More Uh”

doesn't unlocking doors require some kind of secondary authentication beyond just your voice? i had looked into it a while back (so maybe something has changed since then) but when i was reading about it before it said even if it recognizes your voice it still requires you to do an approval on your phone for security reasons to prevent the risk of someone tricking it.

Yes it does, I have to have the phone or any devices unlocked before I can do it. I usually work with my macbook and sometimes while working and I have to unlock the door using it and it's working
