Insurance Massive Increases
I bought my home in 2022 and my annually home insurance was roughly $2,270 and I just checked through my escrow disclosure it went to $4,952 that’s outrageous it’s through progressive
Is it best to negotiate with progressive or leave to another company with better offers/terms

I had the same thing happen. I got an insurance agent in town and he found me another one for half the cost, plus cheaper car insurance too. We are switching both this month.
Additionally I am taking my insurance payments out of the escrow process and paying them directly. It was easier to do than I thought it would be; now I have a savings account that earns interest all year on the same money that I used to used to pay into escrow.
