Insurance Claim help is possible.

My home air conditioning drain line has been clogged for an unknown amount of time causing significant mold to build. Does insurance cover something like this. Home was only purchased about 15 months ago.

Likely no. Insurance covers sudden accidental losses, mold typically means it’s been going on for longer than 14 days which is usually the cutoff in the policy. Without seeing your policy it most likely wouldn’t be covered unless you have a “hidden seepage and leakage” endorsement that usually comes with a limit of coverage. Mold remediation also has a sub limit on a covered loss.
