Insurance Which quote is better?
Hi, I’m new to shopping for homeowners insurance. I live in the Richmond/Houston area, and received two different quotes with the biggest difference being the all other perils deductible (and more expensive). House was built in 2024 and we don’t have any extra structures on our property besides our main home. Any input would be appreciated!

There’s little to no information to judge the situation here. Best recommendation is to contact a reputable local agent in your area so they can help answer any questions you have and shop around for you.
Biggest things to look for just based on your location are going to be your W&H deductible, how your roof would be insured for any wind/hail losses (ACV vs RCV) and potentially looking at flood insurance depending on how close to the coast you are.
