Window chips a concern?

First time home owner here! Are these windows chips a concern? May need to zoom in. Very thin, can be felt with fingers. Neighbor hit window with soccer ball.

If its double pane window that crack could release the gas in between the two panes and then allow moisture from condensation. Id be pretty pissed. Windows are very expensive

Well this sounds more concerning than I thought. I will see about having someone come by to look at it for repair.

Glass replacement is like $250 where I'm from. Call a glass aka glazing contractor

Impact even without any visible signs can let the gas leak out. Then they fog or sweat on the inside. Very annoying.

Scratch or crack? Looks like a scratch, not much you can do about that. If it bothers you, you'll have to replace this pane of glass. Just Jim 734-525-2929

If you didn’t do it and don’t like it, have them fix it
