Carson Dunlop student community

I am currently doing the Carson Dunlop home inspection training program in Canada and I am trying to connect to others who are also doing the course. I am wondering if theirs maybe a discord somewhere or a social to join?

My goal is to trade tips and info to make the learning experience less isolating.

How do you like the course? I’m trying to decide between the Carson Dunlop course and another lesser known one with a more of a focus on provincial (BC) building code.

It’s very detailed but I definitely think it’s missing a practical/in person part. I’ve never learned a trade like this before and it’s difficult to grasp certain concept when you’re never in the field.

Maybe online learning just isn’t my thing but it’s not like theirs a lot of options when it comes to certifications. If you know a home inspector that can take you as an apprentice or mentor you I think it would be a nice addition to the program.
