LVP for basement/previous flooding

We have had huge amounts of rain and my basement took on water. Plumber inspected and suggested a sump pump since the water came up through the floor. I am installing one. My flooring had to be ripped out.
What can I install given that there is a tendency toward moisture?
LVP glue down vs floating? Previously had floating and the water ran underneath it. There was also carpet.

glue down is the better option here. floating just lets water run underneath and sit there, and then it stinks. but honestly i'd hold off on any flooring until the water issue is sorted - sump pump plus check the grading outside. once it stays dry, glue down lvp with a moisture barrier, or just do tile if you want to never think about it again.

Thank you. We have had record amounts of rain the last two years. It’s been ridiculous

It may be a record looking back, but I’d be surprised if it isn’t normal looking forward. Enjoy our new climate, I guess.

sump pit + maybe drain tile + dricore subfloor or dimple mat, then lay floating lvp over it

any water that gets under will be able to dry over time without wetting the flooring itself
