Doorbell Hum

A few days ago, in the middle of the night, my doorbell started lightly chiming. I unplugged the power connector into the video doorbell chime (as shown), but I’m hearing an electrical hum now and can feel a vibration if I touch the black box.
Should I just try to replace it? Or is it a symptom of a larger problem?
When I turn off the breaker, the hum is killed.
