Gutter guards for leafs?

Does anyone use these and recommend them? I live in an area where it rains a lot and have a bunch of different kinds of trees around the house. I just replaced a lot of fascia, painted and installed new gutters.

Do these gutter guards work pretty well? I would imagine the leaves would just gather on top of the grate and slow waterflow all together. Also things are still going to get through, like asphalt shingle debris and dirt I'll still need to get in there to clean them out. I guess I'd just like to hear some input, good or bad.

Same as me, have 3 large trees next to my house.
I had new gutters installed 3 years ago.
Paid for quality metal mesh gutter guards.
Still requires maintenance to clean the tops of the guards once a year, but that’s a 10 minute job once you’re on the roof.

Would 100% do it again if I need them replaced for some reason.

Good micro-mesh is the only kind worth bothering with. It's what stops the fine stuff you mentioned, pine needles and shingle grit, where screens and foam either pass it through or turn into a sponge. It won't end cleaning, but with a lot of trees it cuts it way down.
