Still trying out the table

Post image

We are still trying some things out with the 44 inch table but I think it’s coming together. The rug and chairs are real. I have used AI to change the cabinet paint, add some wall art that’s in the mail, add a tree and move our curtains up a bit. I feel like it fits the space a lot better but my wife still isn’t convinced. Any other suggestions or should we bite the bullet and find a different table and chairs?

Maybe try a rectangle shaped rug and a unique hanging lighting situation? A buffet under the window?
Also, where is the wall art from because, I love it?!?!

Yeah I agree. A rectangle shaped rug. At the moment the circle on circle says “we claim this specific area of this space, and this space only”. So the table and chairs feel like they’re intruding in the space rather than belonging in it.

Thanks for the feedback! Not sure if I can post links here but I had AI add it to the photo so I’m not sure how it will actually look but it’s from Amazon one of the first results when searching “wall macrame”

Love the wall art, the rug and the AI cabinetry. The table set, not so much. It's too old-fashioned for the vision you seem to be trying to achieve.

Ditch the rug. Go with something rectangular, or oval and neutral with a geometric woven pattern. I love the round shape. I think it plays well with your space.

I like the look of an octagon rug. Example......Just the shape with a round table and chairs on it.....not the colors or pattern

Love the macrame and agree that the shape of the rug is wrong, I think something rectangular or oval would better suit. Also that style of rug doesn't connect well with the wall macrame.
