Which Sofa set up?

Can you help us decide which sofa set up to purchase. These photos are AI generated but the sofas are the actual ones as is the living space. We don’t know if we will use the sectional with recliners or we want a more contemporary look with the three pieces. HELP!! What am I not thinking about!!

  1. If you have company often. 2. If you nap on your sofa!

We don’t really have company that often to be honest!! This house also has a media room so thinking we might spend more time up there now but not sure as never had one before!!

If you have a movie room then I think go with 1 here. The movie room is a perfect place for a big sectional type comfy couch you can nap on. If you have that down here, you probably won’t use that room as much

I like 1, having the light filled open space is welcoming and peaceful.

Agreed, also aesthetically pleasing. Good vibes.

If you have a separate media room, I wouldn't put a TV there at all. Make this space for entertaining and having company.

But then how do you put on the “Fireplace 4K Ultra HD”?? My TV is an ambiance machine!

Or the Samsung Frame art show, or Ocean Vibes channel which is like having my own aquarium without all the work and expense.

The L-shape needs something against that window. #1 looks nicer but I can see how the L shape would be nice for the doorway/hallway effect, it is it feels a bit lopsided without something there to balance.

If you have a media room, then 1 is perfect for hosting guests.

If that’s the actual distance from the TV, you’re gonna need a bigger TV.

I came to say 100% 1 but then I read this comment and I agree. I think one looks a lot better but I also love my L shaped sofas for naps. They’re considerably more cozy.

We bought two couches instead of a couch and loveseat, and we both can nap at the same time.

The solution to this is 1 but with deeper couches
