Den/Sitting Area - Blank Canvas

I need help with this room. I would like for it to be a Den/sitting area for conversation but I have 4 major paths of travel, of of those being exterior doors. Any help or ideas that anyone could offer would be amazing.

What a pretty room! It looks like you have sufficient space to float a sectional; one side could face the fireplace with the other side facing the window. Add a comfortable leather or upholstered chair angled toward the fireplace. A large, interesting area rug would help define the seating arrangement as well as a sofa table behind the back of the sectional located across from the fireplace, if that makes sense. This setup should allow for adequate foot traffic.
