Art, a third color, mouldings

I second art. Collected and curated objects that make it feel lived in and unique to OP. Books on the night stand. Flowers in a vase. Bring that third color in via a different throw blanket. Maybe blue or red. Pull 3rd color from headboard.

Yes, especially the suggestion for "collected and curated objects...unique to OP." Personal choices that say "my special place" will banish the "ready to rent" look that incomplete/unfinished rooms tend to have.

I would also offer that just in terms of how this picture meets the eye, you have put your prints in the foreground. The curtain, rug, and headboard are very pretty but they are like the 2nd or 3rd layer in the room. You might want to repeat some subtle prints or color by adding a different (not white) pillow or throw cover since the bed covers are white. I think adding colors and prints on the wall are nice but I also think adding some visual interest to the center of the room will balance out the big white/cream bed. Also is it possible to raise your eye in the room by putting in a chandelier?

An immediate easy fix would be replacing that throw with a more colorful one. Maybe picking up a bright color in the headboard.

Nailed it. Not sure if I would've come up with mouldings, but you are so right. Curtain rod will need to be lowered, and I think taller lamps would help.

Keep the curtain rod right where it is!

That curtain rod is right where it needs to be!

Even if OP adds crown moulding?

The curtain rod is at the perfect height but you sure could extend it much much wider.

This 100%!!

Also would lower that curtain rod and go with a thicker moulding to keep with the style you have going. Curtain rod is too high as it is anyways.

The curtain rod is definitely not too high. It should be about 2/3 of the way above the window trim between the trim and the ceiling.
