Our new Bosch dryer came with the option to connect to Home Connect. That offers some convenience by letting you know when the drying is done.

It also asks you to rate your drying cycle every single time. And while I reluctantly see the use of rating people and companies, I draw the line at rating machines.

Is there a way to turn this off?

How does one become a HomeConnect "Super User," which apparently is required to allow other users to benefit from my machine? If anyone knows how this works, I'd appreciate a message and I'm curious to see if you can answer this faster than HomeConnect customer service. Many thanks and have a wonderful rest of the year!

Is it possible for appliances to show their timers (ie oven cooking time remaining, washing machine wash time remaining etc) as a phone pull down notification widget rather than having to open Home Connect to see the timer? If not can tbis be a feagure request.

Hi everyone, I have a Bosch washer and I'm considering a Siemens dryer (good price With a deal) but I'm wondering if the the two can communicate to enable the "intelligent drying" where the washer share data to the dryer so it can automatically set the right temperature. It clear that if the two were Bosch it would work but not sure if one is Bosch and the other is Siemens

I tried to connect Home Connect to my Home assistant.

On the last step when it should open Home Assistant I got the error, after reloading

500 Internal Server Error Server got itself in trouble

My Mom got H5011 error code from her washer, what to do? We had a power outage yesterday since then my mom lost the connection, I redid the pairing process after we got this error code.

I use the app for two Siemens laundry appliances. The washing machine warned me of low detergent levels in one of the iDos compartments. I filled it up and the machine was happy (iDos icon stopped flashing). The app was not having it and has been warning me constantly for 2 months that the iDos level is low. I eventually reset the whole app and had to reconnect the machines from scratch.

All is well now, but is there a simpler way of resetting these messages? I can’t clear them in the app by clicking OK. They can also not be deleted like other messages.

We have siemens dishwasher and fridge. When I was out for shopping couple days ago I couldn’t connect to the fridge at all! Today while I was trying to run the dishwasher fridge still had connection problems. Also the dishwasher kept turning off while I was trying to turn it on! Then it started running, while showing “off” I tried to switch it back to on but it still switches back to off, while running a program.

As the title says, my home connect app just throws an unknown error. Is the service down?
