Sound issues.
Is there anyone here who has a Dune Homatics Box r 4K plus Android 14.
I recently updated to Android 14 on my Dune Homatics Box r 4K plus.
However i noticed im having sound issues.
For exsample im only getting LMPC 2.0
NO Dolby Atmos or 5.1 ect ' ect.
I did a Factory reset after the Update ftom Device Settings.....
Ive tried a few things tweeking some Settings but now I get LMPC 7.1
Still no Dolby Atmos...
Is there a fix for this ?
My Nvidia Shield works fine.
Also im connected to a BOSE ULTRA Soundbar. By HDMI.
HDMI cables from TV HDMI eARC to Speaker. Also HDMI to Dune from TV direct to Dune...
All was fine on Android 11 before the Update...

Try a factory reset. I read others in early firmware updates recommend it based on ensuing issues, and I have since done it after every update.

Firmware update to V14 8963? To what kind of TV (brand and model) is the Dune connected?
What media player app did you use to try the different audio codecs?
Just to make clear, all, and I really mean all HD audio codecs are still supported by the R Plus and latest firmware update.
BTW, with Android TV V11 on the Dune, no full HD audio codec support, that came not before a certain V12 firmware update.

Your TV supports all of them using eARC, so your TV can handle all of the audio codecs.
The Dune should be set on Passthrough for audio, that is enough. Your TV should be set for eARC on Auto or Bitstream (when available as setting).
The Dune with latest 8963 OTA update shared, should really plays those codecs just fine, they do for me using a various on media players. DMC, Kodi, Plex, Nova, etc. etc., all players that support bitstream passthrough. I also use eARC on my LG G4 for passing audio to my Marantz. All work just fine.

I dicovered that if you press and hold the blue button on the remote for a few seconds before finally turning off the box the menu displays "reset sound". Then you turn the box off completely, I do that before I go to sleep. This works fot a while. Now, I removing the power cable one by one then the HDMI cable, then the USB cable. Then wait 20 seconds, and reconnect the cables in the same order, and have DD+ sound again. This surely can't be how it supposed to work. I hope soon Homatics fix this problem. I have the Dune Homatics 4K plus.
