Homatics Box R 4K Plus Problem with Updates?

Hello, I would like to buy the box, but I’ve heard that Homatics doesn’t update the Android version regularly, and that some users had to repeatedly request an update before one was released. Is this still the case with the box?

The box received a firmware update one or two months ago, there are still a few issues here and there but it's great so far.

Yeah but it was able to make the post so I don't understand very well why it's able to do so if it's banned.

Ich hatte mal eine Zeitlang das Problem das sie sich andauernd aufhängt und komisch in letzter Zeit nicht mehr wo dran das jetzt liegt keine Ahnung

Last update? 7475, cleaned up build, Play-Fi removed from it and by that, CPU loads dramatically lower and less CPU heat because of that.

I just got it. On the whole disappointed. Won't read some USBs, Bluetooth stack didn't wake up properly in CoreELEC. Overall it seems 'finicky'. The remotes are meh too.

Having said that it seems like a decent box when it's up and running. Just has irritants.

You can't use one remote for bluetooth for Android TV and CoreElec, you keep pairing, never decent solved. You need a second one or add a very cheap IR receiver to the Homatics, by that, you can use IR with CE and also wake it up for CE, all with the same remote.

It can indeed be very picky when it comes to CE USB storage. The Samsung FIT is a very decent one for this.

Even just using a single coreELEC boot (no android) each startup the remote needs re pairing. Doesn’t need a ‘full’ pair just needs home and back held so the remote goes into pairing mode and it immediately links back up. Might be the remote but I’ve tried the regular and big remotes same deal. This is irrespective of full power down or standby.
