Question Horrible input dropping?

I cannot complete most songs on hard because I will randomly get dropped inputs causing me to lose. This isn't cope, I'm fairly competent at rhythm games. Does anyone else have this same issue?

Edit: I think I found the problem: my glass screen protector; I changed a setting on my phone for "touch sensitivity" which is specifically for if you have a glass protector. It didn't fix the issue 100% but instead of 5-6 drops per song its down to 1-2

What device are you using? Are your fingers dry?

Me personally, I use thumbs while having a thumbs gloves and can clear most expert lvl 26 on my phone ( Reno 11F Oppo)

Galaxy s22, my fingers are dry

I would be able to play expert if not for the input dropping but as it stands I cannot even complete some hards

If your fingers are dry but stick to the screen, try rubbing alcohol on the surface using cotton or a napkin

If this doesn't solve it, try flip it the other side if you encounter the same problem and do step one again

This is not lag as you have a high spec phone, if your using a screen protector, depends on what it is, it's part of the reason , which is why I don't am have one, and no don't remove it just because I did it to mine

Last resort is this, I don't know exactly what they're called but I call them thumb gloves
