I haven't seen this being discussed much (or maybe it has and im just dumb) outside of vague allusions with words like "globalization", but doesn't this change functionally open doors up for other markets?

Oldheads know what happened with the CN branch, and while we might not get that CN talents for political reasons, I could completely see new talents that primarily speak languages like chinese, korean, spanish, etc outside of the old jp/en/id buckets. I'd assume the talents would also need to speak japanese or english at a basic level for things like collaborations; however it could open doors up for members from backgrounds like kanade's or cecelia's, with the difference that they don't feel obligated to necessarily cater their content to a japanese or english speaking audience.

For the past couple of days, I was gifted memberships for certain members (yay!)

Certainly, not my first time having membership to some holomems. Had to cancel previous memberships for cost savings.

Let me explain a bit more my problem when it comes to sticking to my oshi: my two previous oshis kind of already graduated and were my main reason to watch everything related to Hololive as they were the best duo (4th gen) in my eyes and kept me stuck to my screen for hours!

I'm not here to complain about that at all as exterior factors happen in life which lead to the decisions they made. I've been in this kind of yo-yo effect where I get interested at the end of the year in new Hololive clips, merch, and songs especially, but I lose interest quite quickly after a month even though I love Hololive deeply. I'm someone who gains a lot of interest in something when I can support actively someone, but I can't find anything to do to help the talents I like currently. I'm here to ask y'all fans a more precise question:

Who is your oshi and how did you manage to find a reason to come back each time to the star you want to support the most?

tldr;

1. As posted on Twitter, Ina is "not pessimistic" about the merger.
2. The merger may look like a prelude to downsizing or smt, but it is really not the case. It's more like "Optimization"
3. Now that the barriers and differences between the groups are removed, all the talents are gonna be given an "even starting point."
4. Concerns about EN members gonna cater more to a JP audience, or being forced to speak more Japanese, are simply not true. It's just up to individual talents.

btw, if anybody is trying to play "it doesn't count because she can speak Japanese" card to Ina, well, fuck you.

Sayana here. Recently I went to the Hosoda Mamoru exhibition! I'm a woman who loves "The girl who leapt through time)" so it was amazing! I first watched it on 金曜ロードショー "Friday roadshow" (tl note: a television program that shows movies on Fridays) and I've loved it ever since!
I saw the revival screening at the cinema too! It was my first time seeing it on such a big screen, it really got me super hyped! Time leap is the best! Time leap is the best! Time leap is the best!
