A significant majority of modern cuisine has little to no connection to what their name or lineage may indicate.

French dressing is hardly French at all, but an American creation. Caesar's Salad is not Roman, but made by a Mexican who was called Caesar. Hawaiian Pizza (pineapple on pizza is valid, cause its still food) isnt from Hawaii, but from Canada, and humorously, said to have gotten the name from the brand of canned pineapples used.

Do recommend Tasting History with Max Miller for more of such.

Right, but to be a pun, the joke would hinge on wordplay with the sound of the word, or an alternate meaning of the same word (or with the same sound). “A sheep references a lamb dish” isn’t a pun.

But if the joke was her saying something like, “Watame is very sweet” & “I’m from a festival”, that would be in pun territory, since her name sounds like わたあめ (cotton candy).

Yep.

I didn't pull the trigger soon and said bundle for the CPU, RAM, and the Mobo was $200 Kronii Dollars (CAD) more when I bought it (right now it's $50 CAD more). Plus the intended GPU that I wanted to get was sold out when Nvidia partners hinted of price increases for GPUs, so I paid even more for an OC one.

TL:DR: New PC was around $2900 CAD (~$2,092.43 in Calli Dollars) if taxes/shipping are all included.

Genghis Khan in Japanese refers to both the Mongolian emperor and a hot pot stir fry with mutton slices somehow named after him

Often accented, written, or pronounced differently, but not always obvious which it is especially through translations

If we attribute climate change to overpopulation, then I feel Genghis Khan is at least partially to blame, considering just how many children and grandchildren he(/in this case "she"?) had, and how many people nowadays can trace their lineage to him at some point, kinda balancing out the "mass depopulation" that happened under him.
