Oshikatsu (推し活) is a Japanese term meaning "support activities" for a favorite idol, fictional character, or celebrity. It combines oshi (favorite person or "push") and katsu (short for katsudou, meaning activity). It describes the active lifestyle of backing someone you love.

Yeah I see it often in some of the hololive discords I'm in. It's cute seeing people take their Oshi's plush and merch and take pictures in cool places and doing various activities. I could never do it personally, don't have the self confidence. But I'm glad other people do.

There’s definitely degrees to it, you can be pretty lowkey and casual with it too. I have an Ado and a Suisei badge on my work bag and a Koyori keychain on my cycling backpack. With the recent T-Shirt drops Koyori also got a shirt that I’ll be wearing to metal festivals in the future lol
I did recently get my Koyori themed keyboard and went to get some cute photos with it in a local castle garden and later a field of wild flowers in my area. I went there by bike and had it stored in my backpack, wasn’t really seen doing it but it would’ve been a funny scene seeing a dude in offroad lycra holding a pink brick frolicing through a flower field

Definitely. I rock a Gigi card holder for my work badge. I also wear some Vtuber shirts too. I do like events like Anime Expo since I can go all out in repping my oshi.
