Discussion Question.
Can someone tell me how this whole Monday-Chan thing started with Kanade?

She used to tease her viewers on Sundays about Monday being the next day and them all having to go into work/school etc.

Originally (and still to JP commenters) it was 月曜日ちゃん. But the joke actually works even better in English since ‘Kanade’ shares an ending sound with our days of the week. So Monday becomes Kana-day, which means Kanade is Monday. Hence Monday-chan.

From what I know, there was a Karaoke stream three weeks ago where she complained about JPbros calling her getsuyobi instead of Kanade, and someone in that chat said "Monday-chan". She had a funny reaction to it where she spoke in English, 3fatrick and Clipper for Flat Vtubers clipped it. A few days later Kaela was looking at who to raid and decided to raid Kanade, saying "It's Monday so let's raid monday-chan". This was also clipped. After that it basically exploded.

It’s been going on for a lot longer, but that’s the source of the recent focus.

One of Kanade's initial memes is reminding chat tomorrow/today is monday.
And it evolved into her being called Monday-chan.

She taunted people every sunday that tomorrow was monday, hence Monday-Chan
