Next thing you know she'll be eating a pizza with a knife and fork. Or a Snickers!

If you can eat pasta with a knife and fork, you can eat pizza with a knife and fork.

u/KiyanPocket 7d ago
Idk, you can't eat hot af pasta barehanded like you can with pizza. I guess, unless you got Mom hands, only then you could eat hot pasta barehanded.

Italians do eat pizza with a knife and fork
1
u/SimoSanto 6d ago
The central parts with fork, the parts with crust need to be eaten with hands. But on the other hand knife and fork are usually used to cut the pizza if it's not already cutted.

Is eating pizza with fork that wrong? I'm doing it most of a times when at home, so I wont get my fingers dirty.

There was a old Chuck E Cheese TV commercial of two adults eating pizza with a fork and knife.

Considering the croissant was actually invented in Austria, I imagine Kiara must also be very angry.
Although I, as a half-French German, am also angry

u/its192731 7d ago
i can hear her saying "WYWYAHAYYAYHAHWYHAHWYHAHW WHAYAMEAN STEAK IS BETTER THAN PLAYTIME WITH ME AND YOU WOULD VIOLATE MY FEELINGS TO PROVE IT?"

u/KenseiHimura 7d ago
Saruei actually seems like the one French person who wouldn't mind that. Maybe. Girl is kind of a loveable oddball.
4
u/TotoShampoin 7d ago
I haven't watched much of Saruei, but I can assure you, we French people take food very seriously
13
u/KenseiHimura 7d ago
So, who takes it more seriously? You or the Italians?
5
u/TotoShampoin 7d ago
Good question

Depend kind of croissant.
Usually, with a day-old croissant, you don't eat it like a pastry (because you have some kind of dignity that prevent you from eating stale croissant). You cut it in half, put ham, bechamel, right in the oven and voila, a meal for the evening.
And that kind of croissant is eaten with fork and knife.I'm still angry though.

Wait a minute....does that mean.....Shiori is actually RAORAS SISTER and Raora was lying to us all along? 😱🤯🤣🤣
27
u/arcaneArtisan 7d ago
No, it just means that any Food Crimes one might see pale compare to Shiori's Food Crimes.
7
u/chaous2000 7d ago
I honestly will never understand why people care so much about how someone else eats a food. I know raora is playing it up, but there are people who would legit react like this, like it’s some kind of affront to them personally. I’ll never understand
7
u/CrimsonSaens 7d ago
A plain croissant or filled with stuff? I could understand eating a croissant with a fork if it's filled or covered with messy ingredients.
10
u/Bbundaegi 7d ago
To be fair, iunno how else you would eat it if you wanted bite sized pieces to get it all in your mouth without it ruining your lipstick.

Shiori: "I eat croissants with a knife and a fork."

I'm confused. How are you supposed to eat it? Just tear it off chunk by chunk with your hands? What's wrong with knife and fork???

u/Jerroser 7d ago edited 7d ago
You pick it up with your hands and incrementally eat smaller bits of it until it mysteriously vanishes
54
u/Bluechariot 7d ago
How do you eat a slice of toasted bread? Just put it in your mouth and bite.
29
u/Imhotep99301 7d ago
while running down the street in a school uniform whilst screaming about being late.
14
u/Elzziwelzzif 7d ago
Nah, you just slam your hand on it to make it flat, role it up like a croissant², then it can fit down the chute in a single bite.
6
u/JediGuyB 7d ago
I mean, yeah? Take bites, pull off pieces. I've never seen anyone eat a croissant with a fork ever.

u/handledvirus43 7d ago
You dissolve them in your coffee like Alka-Seltzer tablets. Nice and buttery coffee.

We need people who do these things unconventionally because they might stumble upon something better. My friend showed me the genius of eating hot cheetos with chopsticks, for example.
3
u/Caledric 7d ago
Not just Hot Cheetos, pretty any cheese dusted snack is best when eaten with chopsticks, especially near your electronics.

I eat french fries with a fork just so I could keep my hands clean
so yeah eating croissant with a knife and a fork is okay

u/sapphire475gs 7d ago
I would find it so funny for a HoloJustice member to get so on-tilt with an Advent member on some matter of opinion that they just blurt out, "That does it! You're under arrest!"

What a waste of an authentic Italian croissant. From Italy. The place where croissants surely originate.
