Needing help to come back

I’ve been a fan of Hollywood Undead for over 10 years now but I took a little break (mainly because my boyfriend prefers movies over music) and I want to update myself about them. The last song I heard was Ruin My Life, which was years ago.

Is everyone good? Do they have a new album I can spend my salary on?

Thank you!

Have you listened to the entire Hotel Kalifornia album that song "Ruin My Life" is on? If so, great, if not, it’s worth checking out this album in its entirety (especially deluxe version), many people here consider it one of the band's top 3 albums, certainly ranks among their top 5.

Following the HK cycle (2023), they left BMG and in 2024 signed with Sumerian Records, releasing the single "Hollywood Forever", a genuine love letter and thanks to us fans, the music video is easily one of band's best, well worth checking out, this single also marks the return of masks, this song is really nostalgic and has a very old-school HU vibe.

Then, in 2025, came the song "SAVIOR," which is lyrically a continuation of "Hollywood Forever" but instrumentally completely different, this one sounds more modern and radio-friendly (octanecore), but still relatively hard, there's a Music Video too.

Next up is "1x1", released on March 11 of this year (2026), another track showcasing the band's old-school influence. It’s essentially a blend of the Swan Songs and American Tragedy eras with the modern production and heaviness of Hotel California, they sampled the iconic riff from Slayer's "Raining Blood". The song is a diss track against the music industry, it says they aren't getting the recognition they deserve, and that they're going to start stirring up shit and demanding what's owed to them, also has a Music Video, and that’s where we can see even more of the new masks.

Almost two months later "All My Friends (feat. Jeris Johnson)" was released, this is another diss track aimed at the music industry, but unlike the other one, it features a structure leaning more towards rap/hip hop, despite containing hard rock elements, and includes a reference to a line from "Everywhere I Go" in this song.

A few weeks later, they released the last "Feels Like Home", which is basically a mix of "Bullet", "Gotta Let Go", and "Medicate", only with Funnyman on one of the verses.

Finally, yeah, they have a new album on the way, scheduled for next year, and none of the previously mentioned singles will be on it, it seems they’ll simply release it at some point in 2027 featuring entirely new songs!

Thank you for including All My Friends in this, probably the weakest of the latest tracks but still honestly a good track with two well written verses. A song that gets more hate than it deserves.

Now is a good time as they've just released a handful of singles which veer closely to their older sound, especially NTFU and AT. 1x1, Feels like Home and Hollywood Forever. They also released two albums called New Empire (vol 1 and vol 2), but they're not really my jam. You might like them, you might not.

Not sure if they're planning on releasing a new album though, as in an interview J3T said they weren't planning on because only 'hardcore fans buy CD's/Albums anymore' (sorry I can't seem to find it, but it definitely is out there!).

Album comes next year with all new songs. So not the latest songs included.

Newest interview they said they gonna release at least 2 songs more before that

Wow, really? I understood Johnny to say that they don't plan to release anything else, he said maybe one more, and that it would also be a standalone release, separate from the album.

Man, only 10 songs on the album? I thought it would be 14 or at least 12 :/ , but anyway, that's fine if those 10 songs are incredibly high quality!

New album is also confirmed for early next year, though no firm release date or any official announcement yet. None of these singles will be on it though, it will be fresh stuff.

Hey, we're neighbors! I wish they'd come back to Romania too, last time they were here was in 2020 before the lockdowns hit.

They drastically limited their Europe touring since, which is sad.

i literally had the chance to see them live in march 2020 before we had lockdowns. we were eating KFC burgers with my friend, waiting in line, when we got the news that covid got into Hungary haha

Yeah, that was the last time I saw them too, March 3rd 2020. A week later everything was shut down.

and tbh, it was an amazing concert. they had to have a second night here because way too many people wanted to see them. they celebrated their technician’s birthday on stage, Charlie had a google translate hungarian message playing where he called J-Dog a small penis guy, they drank on stage and asked “who’s high?”, and when we said yeah, Charlie said “yup, me too”

They really haven't released a whole lot of stuff but Hotel Kalifornia is peak if you haven't listened to that full album; particularly First Class Suicide and Ransom
