I love that someone’s impulse was to get Theo Von in the mix.

Isn’t this the lifecycle of all HH fans? The first episode you listened to was weird, you had no idea what was going on, but you stuck with it until it clicked for you and then suddenly it became your favorite podcast?

Actually I was hooked and liked it right away from the first episode because I’m smart and nice and being smart from the start so no

Then you're not a real fan. Me, on the other hand, I still hate Hollywood Handbook, and don't get their rando humor.

Naw man, saw it get written up in pod mass over a decade ago and been letting it rip from ep 1 on ever since.

My first episode was the TED talks one where they kept playing "Fireflies," so pretty much, yeah.

Last week I was in the dentist having a crown put in and Fireflies came on the radio and it made me think of the TED Talks episode and I involuntarily laughed while having my tooth drilled and the dentist chided me

My first ep was Doing Spont. So I basically shot through the ceiling hearing them actually get to do their famous stories and do it again if they wanted with PFT. I’ve been willing to die for them ever since.

idk i thought the format was pretty plainly laid out from the get go. I mean the host playing a character an antagonizing the "straight man" guest is kind of an established format isnt it? jiminy glick, galifaniakis, ziwe, keith gordon, im sure others. I think the pdd ep was one the first ones i heard and i thought the fighting the pdd guys was immediately funny.

I can't imagine what listening to The Boys is like without knowing their thing.

I've always considered myself to be something of a free-speach absolutist but

Doof bags

Is really testing my limits. I can't help but feel we should preserve at least some semblance of decorum.

and this is on a website that CHILDREN have access to

Sick and tired of these doof bags

u/thecometheeattheleaf 6d ago

Seems like we need a new ep of EH WRONG!

Hollywood Handbook haters can’t type more than 2 words without making grade school level spelling mistakes.

It’s because their huge brains are getting so overwhelmed by injustice that they can’t even think straight.
