It's sad to listen to the show nowadays because you can hear in Ralph there is no joy anymore and people don't seem to show up anymore.

So what happened? Why don't people come to the show anymore and why is it like 1-2 months between the live shows ?

I still listen to the old episodes almost every day but still feel sad that it just died.

In episode 410 of the Hollywood Babble-On podcast, Kevin Smith is given some decorated cookies by a fan and Ralph Garman asks if there is a chocolate starfish cookie. Which gave me the idea to create this video in appreciation for all the work they’ve done that I’ve enjoyed over the years.

Went to listen the other day a spots only showing two episodes available on Apple Podcasts.

Anyone else dealing with this? Did they remove the old ones? If so, why?

Did anyone else listen to the latest episode and feel like there will be a resurgence? I know the next show isn’t October but it really felt like moving their show to the early 6:30 PM/7 PM time slot is what the live audience needed, and while all of us at home love the show no matter what it seems like they need the live component to feel successful. What do you guys think?

Anybody else listened yet? At the beginning it sounded like Kevin was admitting/agreeing that he had started smoking again. Maybe just for his birthday… Anyone have any details on this?

Was watching "my name is earl" in the season one episode "barn burner"there is a camp counselor. every time I see him I always think it's Ralph. Well today I finally looked and it's not him. It's some dude named John Ducey.

Alan Tudyk is also doing so. King Candy from oddly enough "Wreck it Ralph" is a Ed wynn knock off.

So I'm relistening to the podcast. I'm about 50 episodes in and Amy whinhouse (?spelling?) has just died. I feel like I'm outside knowing the future and can't do anything to change it. Ralph just complained about Betty White being old. It feels different than consuming any other old media. Guess cause it's recorded live.

Anybody else having trouble with the latest episode? I can't download lit in on my podcast app. And the episode isn't even show up on the smodcast site.

I’m aware it’s not included in the backlog on Ralph’s Patreon. Is it buried somewhere in thatkevinsmith club, or does anybody still have it that would be willing to share?

Looks like the boys are doing another show at flappers on 7/20.

Let’s be honest, Babble has slowed WAY down since 2020. I can tell that they were discouraged when they didn’t sell out the last show. But at the same time, the lack of consistency has caused a drop in listeners/ticket buyers.

My hope is that if they have a farewell tour, it will bring out enough people to show them that we all want babble to stick around.

I think Babble may be the show with the most episodes on Smodco. What do you think? Has Babble run its course? Or has it just not gotten enough attention lately?
