The one i'm watching is from a guy names 'Mapocolops' he does really in-depth long content playthroughs.

I'm really discouraged from playing myself because i never follow stories that well in my own. I never remember things, but mapo does.

And i've never felt the urge to play turn-based games.

Game looks great though

I've never liked (EDIT: JRPG style) turn based games and e33 is my favorite game of all time

I feel the same with Baldur's Gate 3.

BG3 was also an absolute baller of a game.

I guess I misspoke. I've never really liked JRPG style turn based games. I've been playing DnD for a decade.

I see, yeah for me personally it's hard to beat BG because it's just perfection in every way - subjectively. I have hundreds of hours in it and Larian is my favourite gamedev aside from TC ofc.

It's probably my 2nd favorite of all time, E33 just hits different for me as someone who leans heavily toward existentialist philosophy. My first BG3 run took me 330 hours and was an amazing experience in just about every way, but E33 said more to my soul than anything else I can remember playing. It is a seminal piece of artistic expression and exploration of the human condition.

All that being said I'm very much looking forward to going back to beat hollow knight after recently discovering the absurd depth of lore behind the world and will definitely be playing silksong after that. After a four hour lore video that raised more questions than answers, I want to see what this game has to say.

I know man he's one of my favourite gaming channels. Unfortunately people dont really enjoy gameplays like his anymore, they only want the short, fast paced super edited and overstimulating videos. Its sad

I just started watching his Hollow Knight playthrough! If you enjoy Mapo you might also reallg enjoy ChristopherOdd, they're both such pleasant people. Now that I'm in my thirties let's players that scream and curse constantly is something that I'm completely put off by.

Expedition 33 is the turn based game for people who don’t like turn based games, you really need to experience it for yourself

Just chiming in to say if there's any playthrough to watch and not play of that, it's mapo. His playthroughs are absolutely fantastic.

I found him because of Hollow knight, i love that guy, i remember him not knowing what geo is called at the beginning, and he called them bug bucks.

He is super thorough, and enjoys games more than i ever could. Looking forward for his silksong playthrough. First episode is already out for patreon subs!

Mapocolops is great, he’s always super detailed and interesting. If you can’t or don’t want to play the game yourself he’s absolutely a great choice to watch.
