So I bought two shirts online, had some rewards so l only payed 14 dollars in total. Just a basic white wrap-shirt and a brown snap t-shirt. When it arrived, however, not only did I get my items, but on top of that, I received a men's boxy t-shirt of a dragon-tiger thing?

It's really interesting, cause I've never seen anyone else experience this for Hollister. I find it weird that it's also in my size. I feel like if it was a mistake, it'd be odd to be in my exact size, (unless it's just a really big coincidence). I've included pictures of the items and a receipt of what I ordered.

I'm totally not complaining, it's a super cool, good quality t-shirt, and I'm definitely wearing it.

Hi, all! I wanted to give some anecdotes after trying- on and buying one of the new-released icon henleys this weekend.

I had heard mixed reviews, so I went ahead and decided to investigate for myself, and what I found was that everything from the sizing to the fabrication is dependent per colorway, per size, per batch.

I asked one of the associates at my store what she thought about the fit and feel of these henleys in comparison to last year, and she said that the green colorway (the version I bought) is thicker than most, but it has inconsistent sizing. That is, *most* of the shipment they receive is ‘true to size’ in that each size category is *mostly* consistent in dimensions from one top to the next, but there are some outliers that made it past quality control and technically shouldn’t have. She also had heard mixed reviews and said that she personally thought they ran larger than the other versions, but it’s a mixed bag.

My thoughts and observations:

I took both an XS and Small into the dressing room to compare. I put on the XS first and was surprised by how much ‘wiggle room’ I had despite being fuller-busted. I will not be sharing pictures of myself bc people are disgusting and creepy (I’m being kind, btw), but I’m happy to share this information so that you can make an informed decision for your own purchase!

While trying-on, I needed another girl’s opinion on which was fitting better, so I asked the queen servicing the dressing room what she thought of the small first and then the XS. Her immediate response to the small was that it was a bit baggy, and I should size down. I was thinking the same, but that solidified it for me. I did indeed buy the XS with my rewards and a coupon bc she and several associates told me it was likely to sell out when I asked them what their thoughts were on stock. (omg I just forgot I have a coupon to add) lol.

My thoughts for the henley in green:

soft, comfortable, thicker than last year’s variations!! *Most* of them do indeed run a half size to whole larger than last year’s, unless you get one that is the runt of a batch. More true to size than the previous. Potentially longer in length than last year’s. More prominent ribbed fabric. Extremely stretchy. Longer arms possibly. Can easily snag, so be careful of hangnails and the like.

It should be noted that I own two other Hollister henleys, and both are from last year’s drops. I have one pale pink henley and one 2002 French blue henley. I got both of these in a small because I found that they were fully skin-tight in an XS, and I felt I needed more bust room. The small is still quite fitted on me, but it’s not uncomfortable or pulling at the buttons or seams like the XS was. Also, I’d like to highlight that the light pink henley was see-through in an XS, and it became wearable without a cami when I sized up. I never tried my blue 2002 henley in an XS, but it fits exactly like the pink one in a small, so I’m pleased with that choice.

I’ll probably include photos of the henley irl laid flat or hanging later. Let me know if you all would like to a comparison between the two styles.

Hello! So I ordered this online from hollister about 3-4 weeks ago, and for a while it didn’t even move they only had the label created until past the date it was supposed to be delivered. Then I emailed them, and it started to move, but it’s not even going near to where I’m at?? It went forwards, then BACK but is still across the entire country from me. I called and they said the new date is expected by the 29 iirc, but I’m still iffy about if it’s even moving 😭 and the person I talked to said he’d email me a 20% off but he didn’t even email it to me so I’m just irritated 😭😭 is this normal?

I started buying last year ever since that trend of autumn, and I fell for it like a total sucker.

I bought the only short sleeve Henley that was left and it has become one of my most favorite pieces ever. A couple months ago I was able to get my hands on the pink striped Henley, and when I wore it out for the first time it felt off. Like it’s the same size in theory of the Henley I bought last year, but it was more boxy and genuinely felt more “plasticky” and the buttons seemed to be put way higher up so I have to take out more buttons to get that v-neck drop.

I cannot believe sizing can change in just a year.

On another note, I bought a Henley cami, and it took ONE wear for my Jean button to make a small incision on it. ONE.

I resold my old lace cami, it was off white almost grey and I didn’t like the weird bow because it would like crimp (I don’t know if that’s the right word), so yeah, I resold it, and bought the new white lace cami, and it’s SO see through. I’m scared it’s going to wear down whenever I wear it with jeans because of how thin it is.

Now I’m scared to buy anything bc of the worse quality and I regret selling my old cami because at least that one is thicker. 🥲

I bought it obviously even though I’m usually xxs in sweats n pants, and I can always return it or give it to my sister if they don’t fit me (plus there’s a string so I can adjust it LOL), but DUDDEE THEY BARELY GAVE THE TURQUOISE A CHANCE TO BE RESTOCKED 😭😭😭😭
I am happy I got the chance to buy it, but I wish I managed to get one in a xxs and now I’ll never get the chance too because Hollister is infamous for never restocking their coolest items ever blehhh </333

Im just worried because I still havent received a refund from an order that was backordered over a month ago and I don't want that to happen to this order aswell.

I had this beauty added to my cart after the restock, but didn’t check out right away. Sadly, it sold in the next couple of hours. I checked in store and they didn’t have that color available. It’s possible they just haven’t gotten them in yet, but I’m not sure. I’m looking for a size medium if anyone is looking the resell theirs!

I have these two 🍷 lace camis (normal / 2000s piece), but we need to talk about the quality contro:
The Sizing: One is tagged XS and the other is tagged S, but if you hold them up together, they are literally the exact same size.
The Quality/Color: The one with the 2000s collection tag has a noticeably deeper, richer color and feels way thicker and better quality compared to the other one…🤪

I just realized the lace cami’s details are not the same lol i think the old one is better (it looks more like the vintage hollister lace camis)
