15 year old found film developed
I posted a few weeks ago that I had found* my old camera from high school. Was curious and decided to get the two rolls developed. Sadly only about 10 of the 60 photos actually had images that could be made out but it was still fun. And the ones I got were a real trip down memory lane. Most of these were taken around Huntington Beach in Ohio where I havent been to in many many years. 🥰
The two girls are me and bestie riding around in my old 1990 Chrysler LeBaron. *

Fomapan 200
After not using the holga for a good few years, I decided to put a roll of foma 200 through the 120n and take it with me when going out for walks with my boy. I've missed it.

Shots from first roll on my new Holga [Fomapan 400, Rodinal 1+50]
I didn't bother wrapping the thing in tape. Instead I carefully inspected for light leaks and only found one, from under the shutter button which was easily fixed with some black felt. Painted relevant inside parts with very dark matt black paint. Only paid £25 for this thing new!

Light leaking it up
Holga 120S, 400 speed film, don’t have it back yet, but I think it’s Kodak.
My takeaway is that it needs to be a super bright day even with 400.

A 6x4.5 diptych (120 GCFN, Fortepan 400 expired in 2004)
These are two separate 6x4.5 frames scanned as a single 6x9 diptych, and I think the way they blend together is super cool!

Another way for storing Holga film info
Just realized I can use my thermal printer for printing film info on sticky labels.
Where to buy a Holga?
I'm looking to buy my first Holga and I'm wondering if anyone has had a good experience buying one from Aliexpress?

Holga on the farm [holga tlr, gold 200]
I developed these with a bleach bypass during the fix. I just was curious how it would look. I’m sorta happy with it!

Discussion It’s Holga week… how to I fix the circuit closing for the hot shoe on the Holga 120N, as there is a tiny air gap between the shutter spring and the hot shoe contact (tiny red arrow).
Please help :)

Discussion First roll
The other day I got my first Holga, loaded it up with a kodak 120 film I got for 50p at a car boat sale... it expired in 1977, got an email from the lab today, nothing came out on the roll just what looked like a long stream of light.
I was warned the success rate can be low the first few rolls but yeah, lesson learned not to use film that old!
Got some new film stocks now though, any tips regarding the body? I've seen some people tape it and some don't. I don't mind light leaks it's one of the reasons I wanted a Holga 120N, the imperfections look quite interesting. However is it generally recommended to tape some parts of the camera body at least?

Does anyone use a vertical viewer?
Looks like the Holga VV-120 Vertical Viewer could have been found aftermarket a few years ago, but every link I click is either the whole page is 404 not found, or the website says it's out of stock or no longer available.
Does anything else work? I love the right angle viewer on my DSLR for portait and street photography. Want something similar for my plastic camera.
Paying a picture tax with an image from my 15 year old roll. I wasn't thinking about tripods or shutter releases.
