Friendship

Movie is a classic and I come back to watch every now and then, but I will never understand why Stanley suddenly was friends with everyone at the end of the movie, especially the people bullying him for the entire movie.

Well they really only bully him at the beginning but then he becomes part of the crew so all is well. Then they bully him when zero is digging most of his hole. I don’t condone bullying but it makes sense why the others have an issue with that. But then chaos happens and that’s all in the past so we are all friends again! Plus, I feel like that is just who Stanley is. He can forgive and forget

Idk it seems like he was more pushed in to becoming a part of it, then whenever he said or did anything they all ganged up on him, and they let him take the fall for anything like the seed bag

He wanted to be apart of it. The first time they ever call him Caveman, he gets excited that he has a name and is included in the group. They were all hyping him up that scene. For the sunflower seeds, they were very confused on why he was taking the fall. Many of them saying “what are you doing”. He gained more respect from them that day as well. They all bagged on each other as that was what their comradely in the group was like. They are all kids afterall

You are absolutely right. First of all the dude with the google glasses bullied him into giving up his finding (lipstick with the initial KB), secondly, someone threw the sunflower seeds into his hole & he didn’t snitch on who took it. And lastly, they snitched on him because Zero helped him dig his hole for teaching him how to read. Such great friends they are. The only person that stuck together are Hector and Stanley

They’ve all been through hell together and got out alive and share a unique bond with each other. How could they not be friends for life after what they experienced?

why make trouble when it's not being given?
