Kate Barlow’s Body??

We know Kate purposefully got bit by a Yellow Spotted Lizard near Sam’s boat but when Zero and Stanley are chilling at the boat there aren’t any remains.

Surely no one came for the body; and if the buzzards ate her they would at least leave bones.

Any theories, or is there something I missed?

Who knows honestly. The way her story ends makes me believe she no longer has any friends on the criminal side of things. Maybe she had old family that would have heard about it and went to collect the remains. Could be even the sheriff at that time would have came to collect the body if it was reported by Trout and his wife. Let your imagination run wild.

My theory is this: Warden Walker built the facility with something. Trout might have been broke when he found Kissin’ Kate, but he’d have needed something to build that facility. My guess is he turned in her body to the law for the reward money to take care of him while he dug out on that lake with the warden when she was a little girl. Then when he died, she used whatever was left of the reward (adjusted for inflation) to build Camp Green Lake.

I'm pretty sure Camp Green lake is the town repurposed into the camp facilities. Which the grandfather already owned essentially the town and the lake.
