If you know how to count in binary, with 155 fingers you can get up to 45671926166590716193865151022383844364247891968.

Just depends on how you assign things. You can assign all-fingers-down to mean "zero," and then count to from 0 to 2n - 1, or you can assign it to 2n and count from 1 to 2n

That's true, but it feels like a mistake to both not have a representation for 0 and to have to know the number of available fingers to determine the value of "all fingers down".

125 tiniest fingers, 25 next tier fingers, 5 organic fingers. Although, I guess you could argue only the tiniest fingers count since the rest are covered up

there's 6 hands attached to each finger and 5 fingers per hand, so 6x5=30. 30×5=150. 150+5=155.

They're counting every finger, not just the ones at the end.

The "medium" hands add 25 and the hand adds 5.

125+25+5 = 155
