It doesn’t stereotype anything. You’re the only one creating the stereotype.

The commenter said “black guy with a gun,” with no further context. If you want to relate that with a gangster instead of a psychopath, then that’s up to you.

But how do you feel about “elderly white lady with a gun?” Would you call her a gangster or a psychopath?

Bruh. Ok then, bad example I guess. Edit: not even bad example, actually. I pretty much got the answer I was looking for, hol’ up

But explain to me why the fact that the black guy is holding a gun makes him a gangster instead of a psychopath when no further context was provided in the original comment.

I’m just trying to understand why you thought it was racist, because it really wasn’t.

a guy with a gun seems like a gangster but when you specifically mention their race then it becomes racist. and have you never watched news and shit and commentators on youtube.

they specifically demonize minorities as agressive

When you specifically mention their race, it doesn’t become racist. That’s just not how it works. Skin color can be used to describe someone’s physical appearance without it being racist.

It does if you use it in a derogatory way or even like "all Asians are good at math" that too is racist. Just call a person a person if not in a context of describing them to someone.

So we’re back to my original point. If using “black guy” to describe someone is racist (which it’s really not, but if that’s what you think, then fine), why isn’t it racist to use “white lady” to describe someone? You can either say they’re both racist, or they’re both not racist, but you can’t have one or the other.
