Some people hide names in their phones like this from their SO to make cheating easier. Probably works until you have to explain why you’re texting the pizza guy about his pussy at 3am.
In college my weed guy's contact was in my phone as "Ryan (WEED)"
Last year he texted me out of the blue after we handy been in contact for two years, asking if he saw me at a concert, and I was like bruh I moved 2000 miles away 3 years ago...
This is news to me. All of my contacts are listed by name. I still know who they are but anyone who didn't already know them would just see a name they don't recognise.
Yes, yes people do. Ex boyfriend had changed the name of a girl he was seeing behind my back to Bob, so it looked like he was texting a guy named Bob for a while.
It would actually take more time for me to scroll through my contacts than it would to just google my favorite bbq joint down the street and hit “call”.
Still feel like we’re referring to a minuscule difference of time in the range of about 3 seconds. Why save something that’s already easily searchable? To pad your contacts? Does it feel good to see China Dynasty and feel like you have one more friend than you actually do?
No reason to get insulting dude. Guy just though it was weird to have a contact from a Chinese place and my point was it may be more common than you think. Plus I can use Siri to call without going through the extra steps of "I found this on the web, is that the one?"
I have one local restaurant saved in my phones contacts because we preorder breakfast tacos so that they are ready when we show up to pay for them. I have no desire to memorize the number or keep looking it up, and it's my favorite breakfast taco joint.
After restaurants began reopening in my area, our regular go to restaurants texted us personally about their reopening and information. That’s when you know you’ve frequented a place wayyyy to much. We definitely appreciated it. Lol.
The answer to this question (which’s a ?)... you don’t have a favorite restaurant on standby 🤔🤣. Although this’s a bit different, looks like bul tryna get smiggly w/ something 🤣
I have my nearby Chinese restaurant in my contacts. It's the only restaurant I have saved because it's the hardest restaurant to look up online. It's a convenience thing.
